This Privacy Policy describes how WishGrid (the "App") collects, uses, and stores your information when you use our website and mobile app. By using WishGrid, you agree to the practices described below.

To provide the App's core features, we collect and store the following:

• Account information: your email address, username, and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) your name and profile picture provided by those services.
• Authentication data: session tokens, IP address, and user agent associated with your active sessions, used to keep you signed in and to protect your account.
• Content you create: wishlists, items, notes, images, and any other content you add to the App.
• Social connections: friends you add and lists you collaborate on or share.

We use your information solely to operate the App: to authenticate you, sync your wishlists across devices, share lists with people you choose, and let friends collaborate. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Your data is stored on servers we control and is only accessed as needed to operate the App. We may use service providers (such as a CDN) to help deliver the App reliably; any such providers are bound to handle data only on our behalf.

When you share a wishlist via a share link or invite a friend to collaborate, the people you share with will be able to see the contents of that list. Anyone with a share link can view the list it points to, so only share links with people you trust. You can revoke access at any time from within the App.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers handle the authentication and pass us a basic profile (such as your name, email, and avatar). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not receive your password from them.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App, which removes your account, wishlists, items, and uploaded images from our systems. If you need help deleting your account or data, contact us at [email protected].

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and limit access to it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
